Southwest Medical Billing is committed to assisting you with any financial issues you may have. We strongly encourage you to call our office 602-343-2904 before or after your procedure to confirm your plan’s contract status with us and to receive an estimate of charges.
We participate with many HMO and PPO insurance plans, which means that payment should come directly to us. If your plan does not have a contract with Southwest Medical Billing, you should contact your plan to get an estimate of their expected financial contribution. Some non-contracted plans will still pay a significant portion of the charges, especially if there is a limited number contracted providers available. In the event that we do contract with your insurance carrier, you will receive a monthly statement showing your balance.
If you have not received an explanation of benefits (EOB) from your insurance company within 60 days, we advise that you contact your insurance carrier directly to determine the status of the claim. If you feel your plan leaves you with an unreasonable financial burden, we offers payment plans or financial hardship discounts on a case-by-case basis.
